Just thought I'd introduce myself, being a new member and all that.
I'm René, aka "The Doc", from Teesside in the North East of England (that saves you digging a map out!).
I currently drive a 110 CSW, reg. L233FPY, which I've had since new in 1993. I got it as a replacement for a similar 1991 vehicle, J64SVN, which was stolen in Oct '93 from Yarm High Street. Before that I had a S111 109 Safari, which I bought in 1985, re-chassised in 1987 and sold to a vicar in 1991. Has anyone seen GOX922N recently? Last I heard it was at an outdoor adventure centre in upper Teesdale.
I also drive a P38 Rangey, V562MUA, which the wife insisted we bought to go on holiday in 2½ years ago and we still have it! She drives an MG ZS but won't drive the Landy or Rangey (although it is cheaper on both insurance policies to have her as a named driver than not - odd that.).
Anyway, if any members are in the Stockton or Middlesbrough area, let me know. Perhaps we can have a chat about all things Land Rover, or spend a bit of time green laning or off-roading.
