British made
« on: March 07, 2009, 18:19:14 »
Seems according a certain magazine that Land Rovers is in vogue at the moment because we are seen as flying the flag. Made in Britain and supporting British workforce etc... Being one of only a few car manufactures that this is true of. I always one for getting on the bandwagon... So how about it then? Isn't it about time we could buy stickers that say as much. Is there such a thing on the market already? So what do you think muddyweb?

The rover 200, 400 600 and 800 series cars a not 100% british, much of the design was a colaberation with honda. Goodnes knows when rover last designed a completetly new car, some of the desig of the bubble shape rovers and MGs was carried on from eailer cars.

My normal run about is a rover 216, but like the RRC I don't have it to be patriotic. IMHO I don't think that mass production is a forte of the british.
