Bottom Pulley on a 200TDi

The four bolts in the pulley are for the correct puller to attach too, use the right one and it will work, us a piece of Chinese junk ----- well you know the answer to that.

Connect a suitable puller, tighten it up fairly tight and hit the puller on the centre bolt, if that don't shift it tighten up some more and add some gentle heat with the gas axe, BUT NOT ON THE CRANK and keep tightening the centre bolt.

Les Henson:
Make your own puller (bole holes are 75mm centre to centre. Tighten them, whack the centre, tighten again, etc, etc. A bit of heat is ok, but don't melt the damper - it doesn't matter about the timing cover seal as it should be replaced anyway.

do be carefull useing heat with a puller as if there is loads of tension in it it will come away quite vigorously and that may well hurt either you or your radiator quite badly.
