Bottom Pulley on a 200TDi

(1/2) > >>

J.D.:
I need to get the bottom pulley off ym 200TDi engine to rebuild it and it is refusing to budge. So far  have:

bent two pullers,
nearly cracked the timing belt cover,
give it the good news with large hammers,

and it still refuses to budge. Its the first one I have ever not had come off, I know it is welded on or anything as I was the last one to put it on.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

wizard:
Hi
Do you have access to a gas axe.
Dont chop it off just warm the pully up a bit. Dont overdo it and heat up the crank though.
Do this with a set of pullers in place.

Saffy:
use the proper puller?
