my old jimny had pro comp es1000s on and the drivers side rear rubbed on the bottom spring mount and nearly rubbed through , can i mount the es3000 upside down like someone suggested to me when i had the red jimny , and shall i put the rubber boots on or leave them off as they collect loads of dirt and damage the shock?????

Throw the boots away quickly, they'll kill your shocks when they fill up with mud and water.

As for the rear shocks, what you should have is a new mount made up to turn the bottom shock moutnthrough 90 degrees, everybodys shocks catch, but not many people have the relocation brackets. PM me your email address and I'll send you a picture. DG tuning sell them. You could turn the shocks upside down but i think they'll still eat the lower shock bushes in a few weeks.

I run my rear shocks inverted with polybush rubbers. I also agree with Gary about the rubber boots - ditch em.

As far as I know they are es3000's and have been upside down for at least 2 yrs.
