weve used the 127 for felling so many trees, one was a poplar trunk 25 feet high and over 5 feet across(the chainsaw had a 2foot6 bar, cut from both sides and they didnt reach each other :-o), probabley weighed about threee ton, landy/winch combo pulled it right where we aimed it . another was a 20 foot ash pole about 3 foot across that we felled against a 45 degree lean, it was all fenced in and about 20 foot from an eletric transformer thing, we used a snath block into the woods, then back to the tree, cut 2/3rds trough it, winched it up straight, cut it a bit more, reversed landy, tree came over within about 3 feet of where we were aiming :) weve also used the winch to pull out a yukka plant that weighed over half a ton, drove straight up to ran the cable straight round it and back on itself to bite into the plant, pulled it in and out it came! then took an hour and a half to winch it on/off the trailer, including pulling over a railway sleeper sized fence post when unloading it

If you dont mind it growing back you could curt it down.
If you pull it out you will need to cut most of it down first (if its bushy). If you by a chainsaw read the posts I did when I was looking and most importantly the replies about PPE and you will see your talking about £300> for a saw + PPE. If its a one off youd be cheaper getting a contractor in to do it and doing a few of your paid repairs you mentioned, breakeing even on the day and everyone is happy.
You also diddnt mention "Set fire to it"

Rememebr that fences can blow down easily, and need a coat of preservative every few years. Also cost money to buy and sweet little birds cant nest in them.
