driving about without a tax disc?

However, if you get stoped by the police and they decide to check - it will show on the system as not taxed and it will also give insurance status! I wouldn't risk it.

Nah, Cherokee will get motted and taxed, Wrangler's getting SORNed. Can't stretch to both, Wrangler needs more than a litle TLC anyway.

My tax disk is in my wallet and has been for 7 months .... best get around to puting it in the window I guess.

I was pulled over in my TAX EXEMPT 2a, without realising I had the old one in front of the new one :doh:

So this copper says he is going to write me up for failure to display! I kept it polite and said that yes it was my fault, but as I don't pay for the disk surely its a bit ?? to do me for the failure to display?

I then had to explain what tax exempt was and how it works!!! And he then let me off with it :dance: :dance:
