ups & downs of owning cars - peugeot comes good
carbore:
Just spent £1200 on getting our Golf fixed for MOT and removing a Check engine Light, which has since come back on. I think this car is at the end of days. Annoying this is the wife like the Freelander leaving me the Golf, which I dont like. Wouldnt mind be her Honda S2000is under dust in the barn and she does not want to sell it despite not driving it for nearly a year (ill fix a few niggles then its for sale). The Series III is for sale and the Elise is waiting till racing season, the Grey Fergie is ok, but id like to get the brakes 100% and a roll bar on it.
So despite having 6 vehicles only 1 actually works properly touch wood).

Hi,
whilst in spain last week we were very pleasantly surprised to be advised by our extremely helpful garage that they have persuaded peugeot to pay for all the parts for the blown turbo. all we have to pay is £600 & vat for the labour out of a £2100 & vat bill
big, BIG sigh of relief
regards
ela
