Heater blower cutting out

<< < (4/4)

Banjo:
This morning I started it up, got out to scrape the ice off,  and it locked me out

muddyjames:
mine cuts out as well. I was told it was the thermal cut out isnt big enough for the motor or something. I just have it running on ful speed then 1st time it cuts out I drop it down a speed.

Mine used to carry on running even when I had the key in me hand!! Stopped doing this now thankfully!

Oh and locking you out. Mine did that too. The lock was frozen!  But I bet that will be a tired door spring and so drops down occasionaly activitating the central locking. Always keep a 2nd key in your pocket or replace the springs. I have been told it is easy to do. Thats why I have a set of springs somewhere. I say somewhere, thats because I have had them 2 years and dont want to do the job. lol

GreedyGibson:
Mine packed up fortunatly it was just a poor connection to the switch cleaned the terminals and away it went.

Range Rover Blues:
