v8 efi
« on: February 02, 2009, 18:57:24 »
hi, i have a 1980 lwt, i have also just purchased a 1987 rr3.5 efi, what i need to know is how easy is it to wire in the efi, i dont know a great deal about efi set ups so if somebody has done this before i would appreciate any help, fitting the engine is easy enough but rather than go for carbs again i would really like the efi set up. thanks for any help, cheers. sorry if this is in the wrong slot but more people seem to read this section, thanks

Hi mate, if you are going tot he trouble of fittingf EFi then I suggest you fit the later hot wire EFi, more reliable and better diagnostics, especially if you go to the trouble of fitting lambdas too.

Otheriwse it's pretty straighforward because the EFi connects to the RRC wiring loom in one major place, the driver's footwell.
