300tdi gearbox

Hi all I have just took a gearbox out of my neices 300tdi disco as it was making loads of noise and would not drive took tranny box off fist and to find the shaft what went into the tranny was shot and the splines the is on the gearing are shot is there anywhere local to my to get this done so we have a spare gearbox at hand

Is this the shaft from the gearbox to transfer box@ if so you need to fix both halves.  On the auto you can pupll the output shaft out IIRC, on a manual it's a new gearbox.
