offroading d3 disco
muppetlab:
Given the current economic climate i have managed to get a bargain disco 3 at td5 money
Are there any fellow mud clubbers who are off roading these??
Am looking to upgrade it in the near future with some decent mud tyres and am considering some guards for underbelly protection and possibly a winch if the budget will stretch. Anyone have experience of any of these product, recomendations or selling any of the above. Any info would be great.
Paul:
It's amazing what is out there at the moment, Likewise I picked up a D3 last week for a really good price  Not off roading it but I'm planning on using it for a few laning trips... :D
www.disco3.co.uk is well worth a look.
muddyjames:
could I be really rude and ask how much they have come down to in price please?
What kind of mpg are you getting out of them too?
Paul:
Have a look on auto trader website mate it will give you a good idea of what's available at what price..
Not gave mine a good run out yet but the computer is saying 27mpg on the school run

Hi
Great car. I got between 25 and 30 from mine depending on driving conditions and whether it is auto or manual and whether you chip it.
As mentioned above, www.disco3.co.uk is a very good site, I found it really useful and you will find all the info you need on there for tyres and off road kit.
Enjoy!
Steve
