« on: December 10, 2008, 15:02:46 »
well not me im a landy man , just picked up a lwb for a mate to come laning.
what i need is some help when it comes to mods.
1: what size muds can we put on it with standard suspension ? :-k
2: how would we go about putting a 1or2 inch lift? :-k
dont want to buy tyres that will look silly  when he does a small lift,
but to big to use the truck untill he can afford to do a lift.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance.

I think with every thing standard its 215 75 15 I would have to check mine as I have the biggest you can fit.
They will rub on the chassis slightly on full lock though
I used standard 195 15 for a long time, I only went for the bigger ones as I found them at a local car boot sale brand new for £100
I feel the lift is too expensive for what you get, we have got stuck in ours but often it would have made no difference if we had a lift or not.
The Vitara is a good cheap green laner, I sold my modded SJ but missed the trips out so bought a standard one for £300 stuck a set of muds on it and had some very good days out
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it
