Mercedes Sprinter Service Light

Can anyone tell me if you can turn the spanner symbol off, without going to a dealer please.

It's a 2007 Sprinter 311 cdi.

Its not due a service yet, and PINGS at you everytime you turn on the ignition.

you can take the bulb out you might be able to buy a service switch to turn it off i had one when i had a bmw and it turned service light out cost about £30 if any help but if only a 07 plate should be still under warranty surley if it is take it back and get them to look at it

turn the ignition on to position 1,press the trip mile button twice,turn the ignition off,then imediatly press and hold the same button while turning the ignition on at the same time :D,keep it pressed,eventurly it will have the new milege up and the spanner will go out,it should be 20,000 mile service intervals on a 311 cdi

no turn the ignition on wait till the mileage comes up
press and hold 0 button till it beeps then press m button till you get to service sign hold 0 till 2 appers on dash the press 0 again quickly should go off
as i work on them all day

you are right mate,i appoligise for giving the wrong info,thats how you do the old sprinters,i think,or maybe a bmw,anyway,we know now hay,ha ha :lol: :lol:
