My Good deed for Christmas
Gordo:
Done similar things myself, and it does give you a nice warm feeling to have done someone a good deed.
I've always tried to do as I would be done by - sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind, but no good deed goes unpunished :?

As I've said in other posts like this what goes around comes around .....

Did my good deed the other day. I service gas appliances for the local Housing Association and found that one old biddys cooker was leaking. Company policy is just to dissconnect the appliance because the cooker belongs to the tenant not us. This means that they have to pay for a gas fitter to come out and repair it.
I didn't have the heart to leave the old gal with no cooker and a possible 60 t0 80 quid bill for repair so I went back and fixed it in my dinner hour, felt really great to help her out and all it cost me was about 30 mins of my time.
