Looks like it could well be in the New year now :(:(:(
I have 2 Paj's - 1st one I lost the documents - so I am waiting for replacements to come through, and this one is disabled .............why is life NEVER simple????????

If you have the green slip, dated within 2 weeks mind you, insurance and an MOT, you can tax it at a post office. You can only tax online if a renewal is due, so you can't tax a SORNED vehicle on line for example (ask me how I know) and these days you can't tax a vehicle if the insurance is not in the name of the registered keeper, which is loonacy.
Otherwise it sounds like a grey area, the computer says it's taxed, so you aren't comiting that offence even though you aren't entitled to the disabled free road tax (another offence then :roll:) but the first thing you'd get it failure to display if you were caught. A PNC check would show the tax is payed so it's most likely that you'd get away with it if no-one reports you.
