Stu as you well know my background in EDC, the system is no different from the high presure side there on, pump works as the mechanical one does, the only electronic part is the throttle control, the only reason land rover used EDC on later auto models was to get the emissions correct, no other reason, best bet as you say, remove the EDC pump, fit a mechanical pump, ive does this in the past with no problems, remove the TDC sensor and bin it, remove the MAP sensor and bin it, repipe as a normal 300 TDI,

But im sure sombody on here will tell you otherwise, but you know who to listen too,  :dance:

Mick, aren't the injectors different on EDC? I know the non EDC ones are way cheaper as I've replaced a couple of sets.

Range rover blues your a correct, the injectors for non edc are ERR3339 x4 the injectors for edc are 3337 X1 and ERR 3348 x 3, hope this helps stu
