axeman:
hi...
i have a little problem with my 1996 300 edc auto.... when i start it warm it takes a few seconds before it will recognise the throttle pedal and when it does i can plant the throttle and again a couple of seconds (infact the time it takes for the turbo to boost) then we are off.... it gives me no problems whilst driving only when i stop and try to go again...

i have changed fuel filter, lift pump, water temp sender... if i put a resistor inplace of the temp sender it lifts the revs slightly on tickover and it is better but the fact i changed this tels me it's not the problem.... can anyone help???

my last resort will be to replace the EDC with a good old mechanical pump....

JIMBOBLY:
sounds to me mate,it could be the throttle pedel its self, cause that is electronic too,but he price of a throttle pedel, you may be better off converting it,if you can.

axeman:
you are right with the pedal being electronic, but when it is cold everything works as it should..

What about the temp sender in the head itself - thats linked to the EDC isn't it?
