nut size and fitting front radius arms

Hi,
need to buy a spanner to undo the large nut on the back of the front radius arms.

Have managed to get hold of some QT caster corrected ones, I need to use a spanner as i wont be able to get a socket on it as the LPG tanks may well get in the way and need to know what size to get.

Also, what would be the best way to fit them ?

If they have a different offset so will the holes on the axle not line up ? do I need to twist the axle some how?

30mm spanner its an M20 nut

might be an idea to drop ARB out of way i had to when i changed polybushes

i would imagine you may need to twist axle to line up holes on new radius arm

if you support disco on stands under chassis should be able to twist axle ??

Have you got a double cardon prop ready?
When i fitted castor arms it shock my teeth out on over run.

It is, as ever with this damn truck, all part of an ongoing project...will fit these first see what happens.

If you remove both radius arms at once then the diff nose will drop and the axle will also move forward.
An axle stand under the chassis and another under the axle (or a non-wheeled jack), will keep the axle in place relative to the vehicle with only a small amount of movement. The nose of the diff will still drop, but once you have one axle bolt in place, you can jack the nose back up until the second bolt hole lines up.
Doing one radius arm at a time makes things easier and you will need to detach the anti-roll bar from the chassis.
