Which Winch?

Ridgeback:
I have the TDS from Goodwinch. Think a paid around £350 for it. Its faster then some of the other lower cost winches i looked at and is fully waterproof.
Some draw more current then others, the TDS seems quite low and I have had no problems running on my single battery.
Do a search for reviews on this site and some of the others. It seems to keep getting very good reviews. I have given mine lots of use in mud and water and its still going.
If you get an older winch or one from eBay will you get any support if you have a problem! When I first got mine it made a slight clicking sound, I would not have said it was a problem but my mate got the same one at the same time and his did not sound the same as mine. David took the winch back, Sorted the problem and sent it back in 2 days at no cost to me! (It was a weak spring)

I will second thats about the Goodwinch TDS. I have got the 9.5 and its a top bit of kit, mine cost me just shy about £430 delivered but i had the cut off switch added to it too.

Shame i am selling it............................. ;) ;)
