bilge rat:
not sure but  a disco i bought as a non runner i know was broke into . thought nothing of it but iff its registered as an insurance claim  is it shown on the log book or do i have to have an hpi check or something...cheers . alan

bilge rat:
any sort of charge for this or just a matter of a phone call. its prob o.k but before i started throwing money at it i wanted to check . thanks . alan...

Range Rover Blues:
If it was broken into I seriously doubt it.  If it was stripped for parts then perhaps, or stolen recovered (with bits missing).  Even then it would be cat C/D ie the lightes of the 2, no way should it be mandatory destruct.

Gordo:
I don't know if the DVLA will be able to tell you about whether it's recorded as a write-off or not - you might need to do a HPI check. That will also show up any other history it may have, such as outstanding finance.

If it's stolen / recovered then it might be recorded as a Cat. D, which can be cleared once the vehicle has been inspected by VOSA.

If it hasn't been written-off then you don't need to worry about it.
