It may well be but it's stopped my box leaking for over a year now.

That's what I use and I can thoroughly recomend it.

looks to be from the drop arm
has anyone tried to replace the seal
or stripped the box
help please

I replaced the bottom seal and it was fine at first, a couple of months later it's leaking just as bad again.

i replaced the seal on mine over 2 years ago and its been fine, actually i think is nearly 3 years now :-k not a nice job and a bit fiddly but certainly cured mine

woody:
thanks for all the advice

i bought a bottom seal kit from an Independent dealer
cost £6 plus vat plus postage arrived next day
removed the box Friday and got the drop arm off

the leak was caused by the cir-clip broken and the seal pushing out
have replaced the seals and its not leaking
fingers crossed everything seems ok
