Hi I have made a aframe for towing my sj it is like one what is always on ebay but I was reading in the car bible and it say that if towing with all 4 wheels on the floor then the props has to be taken off anyone can lighting me more on this please

yeah it can destroy the transfer box.
suzuki jimny special, chrome grill trim and chrome washer jets coz the monkeys at longleat chewed them off!

I believe it is illegal to tow using a A-Frame unless it for recovery to the nearest safest place.

When ever I tow my SJ I just leave it in 2wd

HMM,

IF you knock the transfer box into neutral, and, the gearbox into neutral, would that not be a good idea?

(did that the other weekend when I needed a tow home on the road, mind you I made sure that the speed was kept under 20mph, OR did I do a wrongun??)
Mainly found lurking underground and drivin my vit off road

NO don't tow with the t-box and gearbox in neutral because it may be in neutral but it only disengages the input so that can spin, but the rest will be like it is in 4wd.

best to put the gearbox in neutral and the t-box in 2wd
If your towing long distance be worth getting free wheeling hubs for the front and maybe take the rear prop off.

cheers for that advice, I'll remember that for next time.

Mind you bunging the g/box in neutral made little difference (IMO) as i'd just fried the clutch lol

i tow my sj all the time  you do not have to remove props t box in h2 front hubs in free wheel ,it will not cause any damage
