stuartevans:
can anybody let me know if it is possible and how hard it is to change the side sills and rear xmember for a discovery 1 300tdi i have access to metal and a welder

mentalmoshio sophs V8i:
sills are fairly easy to done just a little time consumeing rear x member well patching easy,  replacement part can be a pig to do  :)

stuartevans:
with the sills do you have to strip the seats out?do you know any where that makes new sills?

mentalmoshio sophs V8i:
range rover blues did his sills step by step in his gallery think its about the same way for a disco

Cheggs:
The sills for a range rover fit with a little trimming , and don't require the removal of large sections of floor, the only down side is that you need to drill the holes for the plastic rivets that hold the plastic sill trim on. the RRC ones are also about half the price, hope that helps.
