92 on (ish) had the bulb and top hat style fuel filter.

ok here we go pics!



on this pic, i have undone the right hand side bolt going into the top of the filter and turned the car over, no fuel is coming through  :? i think this is where the problem lies to i traced it back to the back of the car, where it goes int the fuel tank and when i put an airline through from the other end it comes gushing through! so does this mean the lift pump is at fault?

Im not sure what happens there really, is there a way to prime the system? that black thing on the top of the filter isnt a button is it?

They dont have a mechanical lift pump IIRC nor an electric pump in the tank, must just rely on the injector pump to draw it through?

Have you tried bleeding the system at the injectors?

no - how do i do that? just take the injectors out and see if they spray?
