The best disk kit is the zeus kit,£613 per axle. They use rangie stainless pistons and rangie seals but replacement discs r £60. The kit comes with mintex pads which also fit early lotus and jag. I have them on one of my motors and they aintbad!

Does this end up looking like the Jeep steering bars then? with the drag link attached to the track rod not the steering knuckle?
I don't think you need the TD5 then, I've seen the redundant steering arm on several Defender axles, or grab a LHD axle/knuckle. The only problem I see with that is that you won't get proper Ackerman steering geometry. Are you bothered :-k
