hi,

i have just done what u r doing.

i used a facet solid state fuel pump (4-5 psi) with a fuel pressure regulator.

u will need to regulator to stop overfueling.

then i unbolted the injection manifold, and put on the standard carb :->

it works fine, but u will need to put the fuel pump by the fuel filter on the back, as the facet pumps are designed to push rather than pull.

im now putting the injection engine (with an su heated manifold) into my new sj, and im hoping it will be as straight forward as it was with the standard carb.

any more questions give me a shout, and i can get some links to the products i used if u would like.

henry
thanks henry

Links to what you used would be handy did you use a facet pump like this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=280258655030

I guess you mounted it to the chassis rail where the filter mounts.

What sort or FPR did you use.
Thanks,
