Waxoyl
carbore:
From what I have read (Mr Armchair restorer) its the inside thats the problem. You need an air line and gun and blow it through thorough the drain holes. its described in the series 3 restoration book by LRO.
well done though, all i ever acheived is parking mine in the barn sand looking at it ever week, no actual work.
stratie:
I did the inside of the chassis, that's why it took me so long to get the job done.
Mike_Hammond:
I did my 90 a couple of years ago and it took a fair days work. I got it up on ramps first , cup brushed it all over (I had the rear tub floor up which helped), drilled a few extra holes for access along the main rails and used an undersealing gun with extension tube to inject the waxoyl into every orrifice. Yes it's dirty and messy, but it's bloody satisfying when you're done. ;)

James.Harwood:
1, select a good warm day and take Land rover to a friends house (make sure to clean the chassis well a couple of weeks before).
2, get the preasure spray kit.
3, put the can of waxoil in a bucket and add hot water, leave there for about 2 hours replacing water regularly (make sure the can is upright and the lid is loose otherwise it is funny for anyone watching when you take the top off)
4, pour waxoil into preasure sprayer
5, spray chassis
6, appologise to friend for their drive and leave quick
Job done
brixworth-alan:
Just hope you never have to try and get the waxoyl OFF.
I'm still struggling so I can repaint my bulkhead.
