Waxoyl
stratie:
What a nightmare
I've spent the best part of 3 hours under my lightweight giving the chassis a good thick coat of waxoyl.
Every nook and cranny got a good old dollop of the stuff, and i've still got the other side to do yet.
I've been right over the chassis, and i cant find any rust or repair work, so im not really sure how old the chassis is?
It's solid, and i'd like it to stay that way.
I've been using a tooth brush to get between the chassis and the body.....any one got any handy tips?

*Note to self....next time wear rubber gloves*
stratie:
£100 worth of waxoyl later, and im about done.
It's not a job i ever want to do again.
Rich_P:
In a few years you'll need to repeat the process.
stratie:
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I'll pay some one to do it.
I've been working on land rovers for as long as i can remeber, and i swear thats the worst job i have ever had to do.
I'm sure it's worth it in the long run, and as i allways say, if you look after your truck, it will look after you.
