I have a Nano, and have iTunes on me PC with all my songs on.....the problem i have is that i brought th wife a iPod shuffle and i am having trouble registring it....When i plug it in, my Itunes page comes up and i can't shift the left hand side of the screen to enable me to connect the Shuffle....an ideas guys?

is the shuffle not coming up at all?

have you insalled the apple software? not just itunes, because when i first got my shuffle many moons ago i had to install apple software to work with it.


but what you are telling us then is that on the left hand side where it lists stuff like podcasts/downloads/music/tv shows

the shuffle isnt coming up

mmm

is it appearing in device manager? is it coming up actually in "my computer"?

WHEN I CLICK ON "MY COMPUTER".....the ipod device is shown...but i just need to register it, but the taskbar on my left (with podcast,itunes store and the like ) stops me from been able to see the CLICK HERE NOW bubble

is itunes full screen?

top right you have a RED X button, and two others, one on the left is the one to minimise and the one the middle maximises or makes the window smaller

make sure its full screen and you can fully see the taskbar
also make sure your screen resolution is high enough, at least 1024x768

sorry a bit fick when it coimes to PC , i Have even tried to delete the itunes from PC, did do, then connected Shuffle and up pops my bloody library with the registar page, which i still can't see the full page

Spoke to someone on the net, apparently there's software out there to enable the playing of MP4 movies on the second generation Nano, anyone ever done this, I mean the screen IS small?
