muddyjames:
It is the Inland Waterways assoc' (IWA) national waterways festival. It is over in Wolverhampton.

There is WOW (wild over waterways) which is loads of kids activities to do, hundreds of narrow boats on the canal, narrow boats are being craned in on land to look around and loads of other stuff going on too and an arena. Not sure who they have doing stuff but usualy there is stuff for kids to take part in at some point too. I believe it is the biggest voluntary run festival in the UK. Everyone in a IWA blue t shirt or red WRG (waterway recovery group) t shirt are all volunteers. I am in charge of the main car park which is a free park and ride over the bank holiday in 2 weekends time. so if you come I will probably end up parking you!!

For opening times and prices etc go to here.

If you come along come and say hi to me. I will have my disco obviously and have a orange beacon flashing too!!  ooh the power you feel with that on but really you have none!

Sorry mods if this is classed as advertising. Not sure if I am allowed to post this. He did ask! It is all for my hobby too andnot commercial to a company of my own.  :-k

I would take both sets if you think your likely to get stuck on just the ATs.

Take a suitable board if you don't already have one to go under the jack to stop it sinking into the ground, a short length of scaffold batton works well, and a good sheet (awning ground sheet) to cover up dirty tyres so you don't get the inside of the caravan filthy when you take them off to go home.

muddyjames:
would 2 grizzlys on the back be ol for pottering around the field so I only take 2 tyres instead of 4?

Range Rover Blues:
Possibly, mix and match in low box only :-k but in no way would I advise towing on grizzliles, the rearoverhang means it's the back one that's working hard and you know how I feel about remoulds at the best of times.

Snow chains are another solution to mud tyres :?

muddyjames:
So really a no all round to any grizzly idea except for off road but certainly no towing on them.  :?
