Ok guys what would you do in this situation .i spotted something land rover related from a guy here in the classifieds, we had a chat and agreed a price for said items , he said it would cost 30 quid to post as it was breakable and would need to travel with a courier service I agreed .now i live in ireland at the moment but the parcel was to go to my home place in cheshire .
 now there were problems both sides after this 1st with the payment getting lost , but I resent it, seller got it and posted the parcel on the 4th of july  ,but the package got posted to the wrong address !!!!!!! :oops:!  I was told it would be reposted on the 25th of july , it still hadn’t arrived on the 2nd of august so I rang the seller again to be told it had been posted the previous Thursday ie the 31st july  :huh: ! annoying , as my parents had spent a week making sure there was somebody there to sign for a parcel if it arrived , and then to my further annoyance when it arrived on the 5th it is postmarked the 2nd :shock: and only travelled with royal mail and cost £11 and some pence to send  :shocked: now i don't mind paying a fair price for anything but i object to this treatment especially as to my mind the seller has pocketed 19 quid for very little an old cardboard box and some shredded paper and a trip to the post office , not how i would do things [-X

well you did agree the price.... knowing its size etc

caveat emptor or summink springs to mind

very true but i agreed that ,when it was to come with a courior! as according to the seller that was the only way it would travel safely .

If it was me, I'd take it up with the seller first.although going public may have prejudiced your case a little.

Following that I'd have then PM'd the Admins to find out how they could help.
