Not a lot i know - been to look at a 3.9 v8 auto Rangie tonight and am very tempted, it's a  May 94 Classic so last of the old shape but in very good condition, with an MOT but no tax but runs and sounds great, help please.

Hangover:
Around town maybe 12 or less anywhere else not much more, hope you have deep pockets.

DoubleTop:
all depends on the weight of your right foot, greenpeace driving I've got 16mpg out of my LR Disco V8 3.9.  I don't drive it much though as I have an elephants right foot, always drive with the windows down and love the noise the V8 makes.

I made £25 worth of fuel disappear in about 40 miles the other night, whilst chasing the lightning from the rather special storm, had no plans to do so, and thought about going to get the other car, but driving where we did to get a better view of the storm without street lights I was pleased I had taken the Disco.

DT.

oooouch!!!!

and theres me moaning at 30mpg+ (with a plump right foot, MT`s, and short local trips!)

i think a gas conversion should be in the budget!

andyhubbard:
Pretty much the answers i expected thanks but i just don't like the 1.8 Freelander anymore ,shouldn't have wrote that the thing will probably let me down now. :)
