1994 discovery 3.9 V8 EFI auto engine swap

hi all
i have just been offered a rebuilt eng for my disco, the eng which in atm is the 3.9 efi. then eng which i have been offered is out of a rangerover which is another 3.9efi. well i have the compleat rangerover so hopefully all the bits needed.

Is just a case of swopping the eng over? will it mate up to the auto box as it looks different (no diff lock)??
Have the ecu's got to be swopped as in pared to engine?

Also the rangerover looks like it hsnt got a center diff lock (well not like the disco 1) any advice on this would be gr8. is the transfer box the same on the box the same as what is on mine? as mine has a lot of play and engages with a bang!!

If it's a late RRC then more than likely it'll have the chain driven Borg Warner transferbox with viscous coupling.

The RRC it a 1992 if that helps

I think it will have the Borg Warner transfer box then.  I know of someone who has successfully fitted such to a 300 Series 3.9 V8 due to their preference of it over the standard LT230.  So it does and will fit, it's just a matter of whether or not you want a viscous locking unit instead of the standard engaged or disengaged difflock.
