Can;t find them on paddocks, but mm4x4 have them...
http://www.mm-4x4.com/new-price-silencer-replacement-pipes-stainless-steel---discovery---defender-2932-p.asp

What i'm gonna do to mine, is put the rear box in the centre, and then make a tail pipe that exits through the rear quarter........
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

Took mine out then changed the front pipe to a non cat one, middle box will be going back in cos its sounds like a tractor with a knackered exhaust now, tho' it does sound good on tickover.

Centre box is straight through anyway so shouldn't zap that much power.

i have a free flow silencer roughly the size of a carton of juice? all SS and sounds very very nice! but it does grow tedious as i have no windows on the cab of my disco and if i rev it past 2k it deffens me!been meaning to post a video of it up.
my dad has the same problem with his side exit, its not to bad if your in the front seats but if your in the back there is this drone and it wares a little thin....

OK, ordered replacement centre pipe, but still not here

Does it make that much difference to the noise levels in the back then?  have the kids to consider, have read some where it does make it sound better, did not realise it could sound like a tractor

iff you get yours done first let me know what it sounds like. because ive got a side exit exhaust i did awa\y with the tail pipe. so to loose the front silencer im sure would be too noisey . cat removed too. so ive started to fabricate the rear silencer to the ctr section iff you get me . dont want it too noisey but to be honest it might be 1 back on the neighbours  ;)

yeeeeeeees does sound rather neat doesnt it. its a 2"(maby 2" and a bit i never measured) bore cat pipe from devon 4x4, pretty swish and did me a good deal too and the rest of it is my dads old d44 side exit(he killed the centre box), i had to chop it around a bit to make it come out of the side where it did. but all in all its pretty damn good. sounds better than the yankie v8s that live over the road anyway

Well, this must be a recent fad...... just basically done mine this eve, fitted a decat front pipe a few nights ago, which improved throttle response....... this eve i cut up a brand new centre and rear section...!!!  i cut out the centre box, and welded the rear box in it's place with a small piece of pipe to make up the difference, and have currently got the rear section cut off just behind the rear hanger, i'm now in the process of trying to get the pipe to exit the rear quarter just in front of the bumper..... well, thats the plan!!  it sounds great, can;t wait to see how it sounds on the road!!!
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!
