Tractor use on roads plus other tracor related questions

I have been looking for a bit and am a bit wary as I did buy an "ok" landrover that has still only done 10 miles of use in the last 10 months!

Still I did look at a grey fergie down the road that went for £630 on ebay, it was in ok condition but not running although allegedly fine (hmmmm)  I know that there may be some horrors out there but provided I dont spend too much then the risk it not too high.  Decent compact go for serious money and a bit like the topper if I pay too much I get too close to a cheap sirmoner which I would buy flat pack. Also man next door may sell me an old Zetor, they have a few old ones in the sum 1k category and they use one for various jobs and its ok so im really looking to emulate that.

If money was no object though the Kubotas look serious bits of kit and would do everything I ever wanted.

PS I think road reg is a non starter, my only issue is transport home and I think someone with a plant trailer owes me a favour. My land surround the farm so I dont need to get about on the roads.

Im almost deffo buying a topper new unless I see one very local for cheap, thing about Cornwall and ebay is as its so remote some things got some loads and so things go for peanuts.

Ooo, that's a nice post installer you've got there matey! Another piece of kit that can cost an arm and a leg. I keep looking for one, but they all seem to go for silly money.
