Reading the blurb, it goes in the cooling system so is probably ony for sealing leaks involving water. If it is just an oil leak then fixing leaks in the cooling system isn't going to be of much use.

hhhmmm it just confused me the way it says for blown gasket, mechanic said there is a small hole at lower back of engine :x (just above the gearbox) where the oil comes out but only leaks out when hot i just trying to find an alternative to paying 800 for head gasket and cam belt to be changed! option i was considering was drop a v8 lump in it  but dunno how hard itll be and how much electrics need to be changed. do you reckon that an easy job? thx m8

I have to say that sounds a bit more involved than a blown head gasket. If you can get a good V8 for sensible money and don't mind having the car off the road for a bit I'd be inclined to do an engine swap, the MPI was never really up to the job.
You may need to do some nifty work to hook up the ECU assuming you fit an EFI V8, but I bet several people have done it before. Anything is possible with these vehicles, you just need to figure it out!
