Electric cooling fan switches ????

Hi folks i have a 300TDI and am looking at wiring up an electric cooling fan but i am unsure on whats the best or available fan switch on the market i am not a big fan ( :roll:) of the type you get in the Kenlow kit but i don't know if you can get the in line type for a diesel any help or ideas welcome cheers.....MIKE

Is that thermostat switch or switch to turn it on and off?

Sorry guys i was probably not very clear it's a thermostat switch i am after. Are you running one of these http://www.x-eng.co.uk/X-Fan.asp in yours Chris or do you know some one with it fitted to a 300tdi

Not got one yet but I've got a pair of fans off a Mondeo to nail in, Solihull Mick's running one in his and it works mint - give him a bell and he can order one in for you - www.mrmservices.org.uk

Somthing I'm planning, can you elaborate about the mondeo fans and how you set them up? Theres lots of those in the scrappers, should be cheap as chips...

Can I just say you can get a plain steel (stainless I belive) from most kit car suppliers for very little cash, and it is almost exactly the same.

I've got one of these hooked up to twin Freelander fans and a three way switch (off, on via thermostat and permanent on).  Works a treat and doesn't leak like the Kenlowe bits they supply!!
