First off, before I get to the point of the posting, a digression (scene setting, if you like...)

Due to small child being off school at the moment with a broken arm & mother being away on business, i was in charge of child-care today

So the 'old favourite' was utilised 'Tropical World' at Roundhay Park (Leeds)

I didn't say where we were going just; "Somewhere for you" (to a sub 4year old , this usually means 'Toys-R-Us', or 'McDonalds')

On arrival she was keen to go in. The Ring Tailed Lemurs were sunbathing in their 'glass-house'
Inside even those wonderfully cute little Meerkats didn't get a second look
Not even the Bat colony interested her. In & out in 25minutes!!

So back into the Discovery & set off towards Wetherby to photograph the Bridge, on Wetherby Road at the bottom of the park this site presented itself.

Icons

I doubt that the Corvette was the tow-car (not even a hitch-receiver in sight)
But they're remarkably similar; BIG V8's, 2-seaters, fibreglass bodies, loyal drivers (& fans), a certain 'reputation' over some handling attributes.

I know which one I'd want, if it was complete

Meant to put a post up the other day. I saw a shogun towing a classic Corvette, the one after the stingray I think.  Made the shogun look tiny!

Someone's late Christmas pressy :D

It's rather nice, but I must admit I prefer the 60's Mustangs.
But I do have a liking for the new model - very nice indeed!!

Yes I did realise that the 'wink' was a bit of mickey-taking, but someone looking in might not have.
