Rear floor replacement
Jake:
Looks interesting!?!
Gonna have a go at it myself soon (need warmer weather, longer days)
A friend of mine has done his but he rivited it in place. Sounded strange!
Worst thing is i'm gonna remove the 2 lpg tanks and the 25 ltr petrol tank and put back the original fuel tank and replace the 2 lpg tanks (40ltr each) for a 90ltr tank and fit it in the boot (you'll see why i the pic, petrol tank underneth off side rear). Then fit a fuel tank guard and scorpion rear bumper!!!! The car is gonna be of the road for a couple of weekends and not in the muddy sense!!!!!!
I'll keep you all posted :D
Big Rich:
I have a cross member for under the rear floor if anyone needs one. I didn't use it on mine as we had 5mm plate instead.

Colin 009:
Hi Big Blue Disco, love what you've done with the discovery badge,
anyway what were you going to do with the old tanks. :?:

I have the same prob, no way am I fitting a fuel tank in that wing, if I don't hit it, some t**t will, I would like to find someone who can remake a stock fuel tank half the size so I can squeeze a 36l tank in with it (I have a tank guard) then I won't loose quite so much boot, I'm going for an upright doughnut in the spare wheel well (might be remaking the floor to fit).
