« on: May 30, 2008, 09:18:13 »
been to buy the terrano last night and the hub thread i put on here never really did the noise so i bought it, and when i got on the motorway i couldnt go above 50 mph because there was a big loug vibrating noise coming from the back of the car , like the prop was loose or somthing , i could accelarate through it but when i took my foot off the pedal and deaccelarated it made the noise again , my thoughts was theres no oil in the diff , being dark i didnt mess with it , i might get chance this weekend , as ill not be using it till my jimny is sold , anybody any ideas
also im after a drivers wing mirror anyone got one thanks

Stiff or seized propshaft UJ, a bit of squat under power straightens the prop angle, off the power back end rises a bit and prop becomes problem again. Bigbluemaverick on here just had the same problem - Milners do a joint for £15 but go and see tham with the prop as your so close they supplied the wrong one to BBM.
