what size fuel lines
« on: May 18, 2008, 16:29:15 »
have just found a leak on my fuel line near the tank on my 2.5 swb shogun and they look like 8mm and 10mm lines on it was going to cut out riotten section and replace with flexible line but wanted to buy flexi line first or would i be better off taking small section of flexi from tank off and replacing all the way back to tank leak is only above rear axle so not to far to tank :huh:oh and is it ok to do this to line as long as i make sure its all tightened up securely ??

Yes they are 8 and 10mm — I replaced part of mine with rubber tubing in more or less the same place to just in front of the torsion bar cross member prior to the MOT — would like to use nylon tubing but am not sure how the diesel will affect it — copper tube is definitely out though
