Gotta be the 'X-Men'.
Like both films & both of the cartoon series, but prefer 'Evolution'. It's got far better plots & the animation is far more up to date.

(both show on SKY 621-Toonami)

Also Batman - SKY 1 (106)
Very nice graphics, superb villainesses :)
Off-spun 2 feature films; 'Mask Of The Phantasm' and 'Sub Zero'

www.batmantas.com

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Batman Of The Future (Sky 621)
Set sometime around 2020?
Bruce Wayne is an old-man. He quit the mask after pointing a gun at a thug.
An employee of WayneTech is murdered, his son (Terry McGuiness) finds out the facts - Waynes Vice-Chairman ordered it- and wants revenge.

He assists BW after he runs into a gang, take him into the Manor.Wayne goes to sleep. McG goes exploring.
Inadvertantly gets into the cave, finds the suit.
You can guess the next bit.....

Wayne has remote control of the suit, a temporary deal is struck.

Later BW offers Terry an afterschool job........

Feature film made; 'Return Of The Joker'

http://www.warnerbros.co.uk/batmanofthefuture/index.html

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Samurai Jack. The more I watch it, the more I like it.
Think it'd make a great movie.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gotham Girls

Think this is an internet only cartoon. It teams up BatGirl, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn & CatWoman.
Very nicely done

Top cat.

Inspired by hit '50s TV comedy series The Phil Silvers Show (1955-1959) and the exploits of Ernest Bilko and his workshy motor-pool platoon, Hanna Barbera's Top Cat premiered in 1961 and ran for 30 episodes.
It remains one of the studios most enduring creations...
Top Cat - TC to his close friends - is the sharp talking leader of a merry bunch of Manhattan alley cats: Fancy Fancy, Spook, Benny, Brain and Choo Choo.
Constantly scheming, their failed social climbing is observed by the local patrolman, Officer Dibble, who tries his utmost to evict the gang from Hoagy's Alley.

In the UK, the show was renamed Boss Cat when it was first aired on BBC1 because Top Cat was also the name of a brand of cat food!

While we're on the subject, has anyone seen the new Doctor Who series yet?
Seen a few plugs for it on the bbc - the new one is an animated version with Richard E Grant as the Doctor.

"Pugh, Pugh, Barney MCGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble & Grubb"

Phil, there's a heck of a lot on that 'Whom' website, I'll have a proper look later. But here's just a couple of comments.

Wallace & Gromit; who could believe Plastacene could be so expressive??
Remember Gromit in jail?? (Close Shave)

New Avengers; Purdey :D , Joanna Lumley before she lowered herself to stuff like 'Ab-Fab'
Patrick MacNee, the absolute epitome of an English gentleman in it.
The Jaguar XJ12 coupe, that he drove (modelled on the touring car of the time)
Richard A Thackeray
Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'

Re; Pugwash.

The 'old chestnut'
It was actually 'Master Mates', wasn't it?

And the cabin boy was Tom, not Roger.

Wasn't it an urban myth created by the web? Which then came known as Master Mates thereafter?

Yes the cabin boy was Tom.

Then there’s Shaun the Sheep  :D

Home: Although his original home is unknown - it is likely that Shaun first lived in a field (him being a sheep and all that) He was kidnapped by Wendoline and Preston for wool and dog food - but escaped and crawled through Gromit's dog flap - where he is currently living - and very happily at that.

Distinguishing Features: Shaun would look just like any other sheep on this whole planet if it were not for his groovy knitted jumper - made from his own wool! He is a bit of a scruffy sheep, with very skinny legs - which is surprising seeing as he eats so much.

Favourite Food: Eats anything and everything! However, it becomes apparent as time goes on that Shaun is just as partial to cheese as Wallace - no wonder they get on so well!

Skills: Shaun is without a doubt the most intelligent sheep on this planet. Throughout the film 'A Close Shave' Shaun dazzles us with acts of cunning, bravery, acrobatics, and loyalty to his friends Wallace and Gromit. He organised Gromit's jailbreak and also helped to defeat Preston - Wendoline's evil cyber dog. Shaun truly is a king amongst sheep!

Referring back to Gromit, there were 2 scenes in 'A Close Shave' that impressed upon me the power of Plastocene.

1. As mentioned, the jail. He receives a present in a box (jigsaw) the tears turn on & the shoulders heave.

2. Earlier, Wallace comments about the 'Knit-O-Matic' machine working properly and says;
"We've tried it on Gromit, haven't we lad?"
Gromit looks very reflective, & nods his head.

And remember this chap

"Captain...... CAAAAAAAVEMAAAAAAAAAN!!!"

Who can forget Captain Caveman? I used to love this cartoon too.

Captain Caveman was a prehistoric superhero unfrozen by three teenage beauties. They took him around in their van, solving mysteries across the country. And he could fly.

The captain's powers of flight came from his multi-purpose club, which could pop open to produce any gadget necessary to defeat the villain. Sidekick Cave Bird was also on hand to keep his master's devices straight. The girls, known collectively as the "Teen Angels," were brainy Brenda, scaredy pants Taffy and easygoing Dee Dee.

Supremely hairy, "Cavey" was also blessed with a great set of lungs, which he would use to yell out his name when flying into action.

Hong Kong Phooey.

He was a janitor at a Police Station by the name of Penrod Pooch and turned into Hong Kong Phooey whenever he heard of trouble.

All he has to do was to dive into a filing cabinet draw and out he came in his king fu outfit.

Classic Stuff.
