yea when its taxiing the wings pass above you you stand that close to it. Then it goes up the taxi way turns at the top so its facing you then it throttles up big time. It has been said that sometimes they get the tail section to lift off the ground as its standing still just from the power of the engines

Very nice pics. been sehing the pc for my pics but cant find them looks like daughter has removed some of "her" old pics and some of mine. When i went last year spent a full day there they had a spitfire in the back of the hanger were all the crash pics and info is that you could sit in. but didn't have a a flying one on the day i went shame it would of been nice to see
