Ultimate offroad weekend :)
Thrasher:
What a great few days I've had, offroad all the time!!! From Ipswich to Ramsgate :>
Of course the route was slightly different to my usual, and the vehicle was in fact a 42 foot yacht
Can highly recommend sailing to everyone
Jake:

I agree totally, its probably one of the best sports I have ever competed in.
I learnt to sail dinghies in Cyprus at 16 yrs old, and had some success at club level in the two years that I was out there.
Got into off shore type yacht racing when I joined the army, done Cowes week the last couple of years, and a week long regatta in the Baltic Sea last year (whilst I was working at a sailing club in kiel, germany).
Started the Fastnet race last year, and we were battling for 1st in class as we went past the needles, then we hit the weather and retired... :'( with a skipper with a possibly broken nose (it wasn't, but after being whacked in the nose by a flailing pulley, he was in no mood to carry on) and 3 crew members really suffering from sea sickness.
Had a couple of great nights out in Dartmouth, and came home to Southampton.
clbarclay:
Had a similar 'off road' weekend, but with a 70ft narrow boat. Marvelous weekend for it
