MuddyMachine:
Can you run a 300 disco front axle and a 200 disco rear axle on a 90, with an LT77 box?

If so which props should I use?

Cheers

V8MoneyPit:
The 200 Disco rear axle I have accepts the standard 90 propshaft.

Does the 300 axle have a 4 bolt flange? If so, I think it will also take the standard 90 shaft. If it has the 3 bolt, then I'm not sure what you need to fit. Someone else with more experience will no doubt be along soon to help.

clbarclay:
There are 2 different widths of radius arm as well as corresponding bushes and axle brakets used on the trad coil sprung land rovers, so it depends on the vintage of the 90 as to whether you will need the radius arms from the discovery as well to fit the front axle properly.

extreme90:
yep there is no difference in pinion lenght on the diff's

what chassis do you have ? a 2.5na/td/200tdi chassis ?
or is a 300 tdi chassis ?
i would think if your running a lt77 box assumin its a long stick ( defender box ) you'd need the props for a 2.5n/a chassis

dan

MuddyMachine:
I have an td chassis 200 disco engine and td props, the rear axle is 200 disco and already fitted.
I want to fit a 300 front axle.
Radius arms are sorted, can I run a 200 at the back and a 300 at the front?

Cheers
