Quite right. There is absolutely no way that the price increases in the last few days can be a reaction to global prices. It can only be getting ahead of the game and making some extra profit while they can.

I do remember last time there were serious fuel shortages a local garage tried selling at £10 a gallon. He hasn't been able to sell fuel since. Nobody will go near him.
