theres a gararge not too far from me thats already selling its petrol at 1.45 a liter, dont know what the diesil costs.its owned by indian's. so its going to get reslly bad soon as there charging anything they like now. we need a blockade. the whole motoring public needs to stand up and fight now. france doesn't put up with this cr@p.

The Gov't will already be suffering from the tax they won't get to rip you off for this month, probably new legislation or something like delivery drivers.  What with no-one moving house any more or buying christmas presents, or dying, they are already way short of the sums they planned to squander this year, even with the rise in the price of road fund licence.

hrh_dave:
On the way home from work tonight nipped into Asda Dunbar for ciggs..... on the way out there was a que of about 10 cars for fuel..... Got fed up of waiting so took a nice senic route over the freshly seeded ground...... hey ho..... :) Thankyfully Im heading south for the weekend in the morning so I can import some fuel on Sunday :)

Disco Matt:
It's been 1.22.9 here for ages now - mind you we do have a local chain (the only two garages are owned by the same people) which has been abusing their monopoly for years.

If it wasn't for the Hi Mars bar content....
