I rather fancy the Nemesis, but my plan to do the same with an inoffensive-looking 300 series Disco and a supercharged 5l V8 would probably be more fun...

There are a fair few standard parts in a Tomcat and in the Wildcat for that matter, they are just built for the purpose - and that is going fast!
I must say I do enjoy beating Wildcats and Tomcats with my Super Production class Discovery!
You can see plenty of these fantastic motors at any round of the British Cross Country Championship or the National Hillrally Championship - more details, here www.Marches4x4.com

I think seeing yours at the Baja GB might well have been part of my inspiration - although I'd be going for a Q-car look without much to show what it has under the bonnet! I was part of the crew that set up the Radnor stage.

Thanks for your work on the Baja - it was much appreciated we had a fantastic time - those long stages were just amazing! We were so up for a good run through Radnor as I know it well, but the king plug lead jumped off dropping us to the back of the field.
The Friesian thing was just a cheap way of covering up a bad paint job at first, if we'd been able to afford it we might have gone for the Q-car look too, but the cow thing has kind of stuck and has been good to us.
With luck we'll be back at Radnor in a few weeks for the first round of the Hillrally Championship.

Disco Matt:
It was almost as much fun to set up - I grew up watching TV coverage of rallying in Radnor and Sweet Lamb and never thought I'd get to drive the stages myself! Ended up watching the temporary bridge being installed there on Day 3 of setup after we finished Radnor.
We use Radnor for Powys 4x4 Response training weekends on a yearly basis so I know it reasonably well now, there are some interesting little technical bits in there.
