Steering box question

Simple question for a simple answer:

is the steering box on a 200 tdi the same as my 300tdi. i am sure the answer is yes as it is mainly the engine that is different but i just needed that warm fluffy feeling before i bid for one on ebay.

Anyone got one they want to get rid of for a good price in case i dont win the one on ebay??? this has failed for the second time now in about 18 months. hopefully i will get it exchanged under the warranty from my supplier but in case there is a bit of a fight i need to source one really. may have a prob with the pump prv failing and blowing the steering box. will prob change the pump at the same time if i can source one second hand.

Where abouts are you mate? there's a steering box here on a 300TDi that should be in good nick if you want to make me an offer.

Howe much is the e-bay one BTW?

i may well be wrong, but cant you tell by the number of bolts on the top of the box ?

They'll all be 4 bolt surely?

BTW??? its at a really low price at the moment and still has a few days to run, that said, i am keen to get one soon. i wouldnt look at paying much more that 50 notes plus p&p for a non recon one. its a ball ache of a job to as you prob know and would hate to have paid loads for one that may leak the second i fire it up.
